Why Osteoporosis Occurs

August 21st, 2009

This condition is very common is women and may present at the age of around 40’s onwards. The common perception that calcium deficiency is the cause of this happening is perfectly true, but the reason for this deficiency is what muddies the water. It is excess acid in the body that breaks down the calcium in the body, and without that calcium in the system ,the acid levels in the body increase exponentially and it’s the acid that attacks the bones and breaks them down, causing the bone density losses.

Symptoms.

In many cases the spine begins to curve at the top.
The joints begin to distort.
Unusually high levels of body pain.
And if the person falls they break bones very easily.
Heavy plaque formation on the teeth.
Receding gums
Tendency towards developing kidney stones.
Loose teeth.
Back pain.
Round shoulders.
Loss of height.
Cause of Osteoporosis.

Smoking increases the risk of osteoporosis.
Alcohol stimulates osteoclasts( breaks down bone)abuse breaks down calcium increasing bone loss.
Prescription drugs such as cortisone, thyroid hormones, and anticoagulants can increase osteoporosis and should be used for very shot periods.
Diets, processed foods and refined sugars cause acid.
Excessive protein intake.
Lack of exercise.
Estrogen in women and testosterone deficiencies in men can cause this condition.

Suggested supplement regime.

GNLD Chelated Calcium. (Calmag)
GNLD Chelated Zinc.
Silicon.
Drink 6-8 glasses of warm water with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice per day.

Constipation

March 13th, 2009

This condition is plaguing the developed world and is one of the major causes of colon cancer among other diseases. The reason for this phenomenon is we, in modern day society, are living on diets that simply do not contain enough fibre. Our foods are processed(too refined) and very high levels of saturated fats and chemicals. All of these factors contribute to our systems becoming very sluggish and prone to developing digestion problems. Unfortunately, we are then led to believe that we need to use laxatives to “remedy” the constipation, which is probably the worst option to take when attempting to solve the constipation problem. The reason being that laxatives interfere with the peristaltic (squeezing) action of the colon, making the colon lazy and thus compounding problems in the digestive tract. What then happens is that we begin to reabsorb the toxins in the colon which are supposed to be excreted in the faeces and this raises the acid levels in the body, cancer and acid are synonymous with each other .. Constipation is one of the primary causes of cancer in the colon and in the United States of America, the no.2 killer disease is colon cancer after heart disease. Our bodies are designed to eliminate a minimum of twice daily, modern day man is only eliminating maximum once per day or less and this is positively dangerous and harmful to your health. Many women suffer with constipation because they refuse to use public toilets because of the lack of hygiene generally, this is very bad for your system and it is better to use a disinfectant spray and to rather use public facilities in extreme cases.

Symptoms.

· Bloating/weight gain.

· Headaches/nausea.

· Lack of energy.

· Interrupted sleep patterns.

· Inability to eliminate regularly.

· Pasty skin tone.

Treatment.

· Increase your intake of fibre both soluble and insoluble (albran flakes/muesli/oats).

· Eat raw veggies and at least 3-4 fruits per day.

· Drink 6-7 glasses of good quality water, start your day with a cup of boiled water with 2 tablespoons lemon juice to neutralise acids in the body.

· Eat 5-6 small meals per day as opposed to 2-3 large meals. Smaller meals more often speed up the metabolism.

· Eat raw carrots to clear the lymphatic system.

· Exercise regularly, a brisk walk 3-4 times per week for 30-40 minutes.

· Reduce the intake of wheat, refined sugars and saturated fats.
