The thyroid gland is situated in the neck and plays a role in regulating the balance in the body.

Symptoms.

An over active thyroid can affect the heart by causing it to beat much faster, can cause indigestion and even excessive levels of energy, in many cases can sensitise you to temperature changes.
Under active thyroid if left unchecked, can lead to cardiac arrest and uncharacteristic loss of weight and bring on menstrual cycles that just don’t seem to end.

Treatment.

Take large amounts of Vitamin A, it occurs in red peppers carrots, tomatoes and take iron in beetroot, raw spinach, every day.
Thyme is an antiseptic, use to sprigs of Thyme and pour boiling water over it to make a tea, allow it to draw for a few minutes, mix with honey and drink a cup 3 times per day.
Make a ginger drink and make it as follows: Cut up and boil for 40 minutes in 2 litres of water on cooling, add 4 tablespoons of honey and the juice of 2 fresh lemons.
